Throughout history, global temperatures rise prior to CO2 levels contrary to alarmists assertions

Ice cores show historical temperature increases preceded increases in CO₂ levels by almost 800 years. This suggests that global warming causes CO₂ increases, not the other way around as global warming alarmists proclaim. While CO₂ and temperature are no doubt correlated, that does not establish causality and there is still a great deal of debate on the other causes of warming including cloud formation.
