Satire and humour have a place in politics, but only insofar as they don't replace rational argument in other contexts. It is pleasant that sometimes other political commentators stick up for evangelicals and their contributions, but when faced by unfairness my advice would be "grin and bear it!". See Matthew 5.11 and 12 "Blessed are ye when men shall revile you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely for my sake. Rejoice and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you".
