Islamic militants target not just the West, but the Rest

Claims alleging American foreign policy serves as fuel on the fire of Islamic militancy fail to acknowledge its global threat. Since 9/11, attacks from Madrid to Mumbai prove Islamic militants aren’t just fighting the West, they're targeting the Rest – anyone not like them. 

Militants targeted the historic Taj Majal Palace and Tower and Mumbai’s lone Jewish center... hardly American icons.  Mumbai terrorist confession confirms use of Google Earth and Blackberry GPS handhelds to coordinate targeted attacks, resulting in intentional murder of the only rabbi in city of 20 million. 

In They’re Winning , terrorism expert Steve Emerson, highlights media failure to identify real terrorists:  Islamic militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), whose goal is, “restoring Islamic rule over all parts of South Asia, Russia and even China.”  Media continues to ignore fact that it’s a fundamentalist Islamic group. 

Honest assessments from Thomas Friedman and Mark Steyn equate silence to acceptance, calling on moderate Muslims to stand up and speak out against militant counterparts.
