What Can I Do?

In his book, America Alone, Mark Steyn explains that, when it comes to the issue of radical Islam, we have three options:

  1. Submit to Islam
  2. Destroy Islam
  3. Reform Islam

We can all probably agree that options 1 and 2 aren’t that favorable and the last option of “reforming Islam” is probably the most agreeable, common-sense approach.

So what can I do, you ask...

  1. Educate yourself. Watch Obsession, read America Alone. Visit our Educational Resources page and see who the personalities are that are engaged in this issue.
  2. Reach Out to the Muslim Community. With an increasing amount of Muslim immigrants sequestering themselves from our society, it’s imperative that we reach out to the Muslim community, befriend them and show them what American is really about – faith, family and community.
  3. Learn about the Muslim Faith. Recognize that it’s not Islam itself that we’re threatened by, but rather “political Islam”.
  4. Support women’s rights
  5. Support Economic and Political liberty in Muslim countries
  6. Stigmatize Muslim countries where non-Muslims are persecuted
  7. Expose radical mosques, Madrassas, think tanks and other groups in America funded by Saudi Arabia, Iran and others
  8. Marginalize the UN, NATO and other coalitions that impede the ability to counter radical Islam’s affronts to human freedom
  9. Stop bankrolling radical states by reforming US energy policy
