- The Muhammad Ali Humanitarian Award presented by the Champ in 1999.

- Humanitarian of the Year presented at the National Charity Awards Dinner in Washington, D.C., whose past honorees include Coretta Scott King, Bob Hope, President George Bush, and Lady Bird Johnson.

- Honorary Doctorate of Law at Pepperdine University in Malibu, as well as honorary degrees at Regent University in Virginia Beach, and Goldey Beacom College in Wilmington, Delaware.
