Czech Republic Pres Václav Klaus and Foster Discuss Danger of Trying to "Mastermind Global Climate"
Foster and the President of the Czech Republic, Václav Klaus, enjoyed dinner together after Klaus delivered a speech to the U.N. Climate Change Conference. Klaus questioned the wisdom and feasibility of global governance; noting the discriminatory interference on developing economies any global emissions regime would create. Foster sympathizes with Klaus' calls for "adaptation, not attempts to mastermind the global climate."
