Rather than just saying what they ‘stand for’, candidates should level with America and tell us: what they will do, who’s going to pay for it, how they’ll get it through Congress and the economic impact.  Despite some of his unpopular policies in NYC, such as the smoking ban and increased taxes to pay teachers, the city is now in better shape.  Americans are smart enough to understand there is no free lunch.  Watch this 3 min video.
