Obama’s record on taxes

Obama:  “The truth is, in order to get things like universal healthcare and [a] revamped education system then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so someone else can have more.”

Obama just voted for a budget that would raise the taxes on single persons with income above $32,000.

He has voted dozens of times to raise federal taxes and pays no heed to the concept that lower marginal tax rates help to promote investment and employment, instead concluding that the government needs more money and the rich should be happy to contribute. Obama:  “Let’s be clear, the rich in America have little to complain about.”
